Our Church has for the last two Sundays held classes on "Definite Atonement" re: "...the specific atonement Jesus Christ made for HIS elect...the unity of the Godhead in their purpose for the salvation of the ELECT... the extent of Jesus' atonement and to whom it applies."
The Book of John...Jesus as the Savior of all the world...not ALL people receive salvation and...Jesus special status as the EXCLUSIVE Savior...the ONLY true savior...God punishes the un-repentent for their sin and UNBELIEF... Jesus Atonement extends to ALL the world...not all people belong to the Shepards flock... ( of sheep, not Goats that have been separated!)..."
What stood out - in today's context - for me is - "... Arminianism fragments the unity of the godhead in SALVATION, for it REQUIRES that each person sets out to save save a different GROUP of people...."
( That's like defining more and more additional "Protected Classes" for our Elected Officials to codify into our already crowded Laws,....! Why isn't the word equal, and the Equity Clause of our Constitution enough??? Does this doom us to the class of goats?) So if you are Muslim,.or ..., accept Mohammed or .... as the prophet, the one, ... you do not honor allegiance to OUR Constitutional Republic, so ....! Sorry, but Jesus doesn't use the word democracy - either!

I'm trying to think - what action would/should we take if suddenly we find that one two or three branches of our government were infiltrated (assisted by illegal means) by enemy sympathizers masquerading as a political party and the majority media joined them. This done after gaining many sympathizers from the population by years of grooming in the public schools and everywhere else the enemy could. And all this was kept secret enough that no one could really knew who might be enemy, who might be sympathizers of the enemy and who might be patriots. Add this - suddenly 99.99% of patriots become mere sympathizers of the patriot side, not fully patriots. (Sounds like a CCP plan.)
First, we would make a two-headed approach: while turning the patriot sympathizers into patriots again, we would simultaneously...WHAT would we do? Think. What would the enemy NOT want us to do, and what would the enemy WANT us to do? Of course they would WANT us to fall into their trap of fighting in the streets with carnal weapons.
Whatever the final techniques and strategies we'd use, when we've won, we had better make sure such a thing could never, ever happen again for untold generations in the future...under pain of capital consequences.
I enjoyed your thoughts on the God portion of your letter! In this current world we do not take enough time to connect with Our God. Many distractions !! I pray you get answers concerning your run for Governor and I believe you had a greater impact than you know.
You make me think and dive into previously uncharted intellectual waters.
