Fear not Robert, Ezekiel 9 tells what happens to those who prostitute their office or position of power for personal gain while leading the public astray. Note that the Lord commands them to start at the temple; the supposed place of worship of Him. Our churches have failed as a whole; their corruption has naturally bled into public offices like Evnen and company. Galatians 6:7 still rules; they, and their ilk, will reap what they have sown.

Keep the faith; fear not; turn them over to the Lord, the righteous judge; He, and He alone is our vengeance.

Like Elmer Fudd? "No bullets!"? More like the Road Runner? or - "Run, run, just as fast as you can, ya can't catch me, I'm the State of Nebraska's Man!

You are shining the light here and are right, but ONLY in the court of public opinion will any of this make a difference. The court of law only will frustrate to NO end. At least that’s my experience.

I totally agree. I have no hope, and see no justice, in the current courts of man. They are all gone astray, to put it mildly. My appeal, my goal, is to the only Court that matters now under God—the Court of Public Opinion, just as you stated.

When in the Course of human events, government becomes destructive of our God-given unalienable rights, it is OUR right, the right of We the People, to alter or to abolish it.

The time is coming, and I will enjoy it when it does.

Of course, I will enjoy a little subtle mockery in the here and now, as we head up to that point, AND when it comes.

"Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh" (Pro 1:24-26)

A quote from Common Sense:

"Every quiet method for peace hath been ineffectual. Our prayers have been rejected with disdain; and hath tended to convince us that nothing flatters vanity or confirms obstinacy in Kings [our public servants act like kings] more than repeated petitioning and nothing hath contributed more, than that very measure, to make the Kings of Europe absolute."

Repent….confess? You’re right. Not likely without a might move of God in their lives. Not impossible, but unlikely in hardened hearts. 😔
