I’m interested in Janice’s statements and appreciate her sharing her views. But we need to remember that we are to TELL THE TRUTH in love. Assessing facts is different than judging intentions. When a kid comes to you and tells you why he smacked someone at school, it’s our job to point out that’s not the right way to handle a dispute, but our first God-given job is to point out the error (which we saw from the fruit of their actions!). Corrections need to be made until the problem is corrected. That’s what true love does. Actions speak louder than words.
Oh Bob - right again. And again I pushed the Douglas Co. Board (NE) on a range of things, but repeating my Election Integrity Appeal - for DC to lead NE Counties in OUR efforts, for a "Presentation", soon, with you as the "Presentor" and WE THE PEOPLE joining you, as "Proponents", the other side as "Opponents". And we can question them if we so choose! And, get to refute their comments after they are done. Perhaps even call some back to the Podium, foe specific answers!
I presented them with a so called "Resolution" (?) the DC - NVAP has drafted - re: Douglas County Elections and the monitoring of counting, calling for ....... etc, as mentioned in my email. I did not represent them - but as I have attended a few mtg.' and they wanted attendee to distribute inf to the Board, I did so today! I've yet to see, hear, anyone from that group there! Time is short! Please try to make it's next meeting (12/5/23. Now is the time to 'Present" you! As the primary "Presentor" for our cause, which includes NVAP,....., as our "Proponents". They are now "On notice........" as the resolution states!

We love God--because He loved us first. But--the reason why He absolutely had to love us first (or there would have been no possibility of us ever loving Him--or anyone else) is because we are incapable of being the kind of decent, perfect people that a holy, just, and righteous God must, by His very nature, require His people to be.
Christ was very clear: He did not come to abolish the Law, but to fulfill it in every particular (Matthew 5:17-20). He also did not absolve us of following His example. We are to "be perfect" as God is perfect (Matthew 5:48)--which--we are incapable of doing without the Holy Spirit filling and indwelling us, healing us, and transforming our lives. Nevertheless, God really does expect the impossible of each of us!
Janice appears to have lost sight of this reality, and I have this question for her: can you really still call yourself a Christian when you reject Christ's call to holiness and righteousness? Nevermind what others may think or say, doesn't your own conscience torment you? And if you genuinely, absolutely do love God and desire to love your fellow human beings well too, don't you desire to put things right? Isn't it important to you not just to give them a voice on social media but also protect their right to vote, to participate in their own self-governance?
How is turning a blind eye to corruption in the Secretary of State's office and in our voting system promoting a love of our neighbors let along a respect for and godly fear of the One we must all answer to when our lives are done? We can't take our power or wealth with us in death. All we have left is how well we loved God and our fellow human beings, and were (and are) loved by Him and by them.
