Dear Friends, I sent the following Public Records Request to our SoS office (Ashlee is the designated PRR person in the office): I initially got the reply below, which made it apparent to me they were giving themselves more time to figure out how to respond, since their ballots don’t have any security features:
Thank you Robert, and all others! I've much to say re: Douglas Co. and the Omaha City Council - and the recetly Amended - once again Ne. Open Meetings Statute - buried in LB 43 so citizens won't know that then State GmVA Committee is Cahooting with Local Gov'ts via the impossible to comprehend Open Meetings Act - left so wide open with vague "LAWFARE" for Local bodies for each body to interpret differently amongst themselves, so as to remove or hide what they are doing - with help/advice/sample legislation,... from National Associations, outsiders and NGO's , Non-Profits(?), Community Partners, and MEDIAS. "Citizen Comments" are now Gone, and they intend to Regulate, suspend, harras - OUR (We the People) speech and "Behavior" at "PUBLIC"??? Meetings???? - but NOT theirs.
How unlawful, Un- Constitutional Is that? Watch for developments In Fremont Ne , over their City Council's BEHAVIOR! The stay tuned for Douglas County, Omaha City Council,.....!
I stirred the water 4/23?24 with both bodies - and I think there has been some editing, maybe removal of "Comments"! Not the first time! They need to answer to We the People at OUR Presentation, in their Chambers, to force discussion WITH us and clear ANSWERS, two way discussion/debate - AS AN ITEM ON THE "AGENDA", (A PUBLIC HEARING) - NOT ON ANY CONSENT AGENDA!
I wrote the Governor's OffIce about this LB 43 - but it was REJECTED, NO OTHER REPLY, NOT EVEN A COPY. I THINK THAT WAS HACKED ALSO???
