Dear Friends,
In lieu of testifying, I just sent the following to the members of the Government Committee taking testimony on “election” bills this afternoon. I’ll leave you with exactly what I wrote—I actually sent it to every member of the legislature and several members of the SoS office (and now I need to get ready to go down there):
Committee Members,
This isn’t Rocket Science.
Tyrants abound.
In a constitutional republic, governments are instituted to secure our rights. (See Article I-1 of our State Constitution).
The just power to secure them is derived from consent of the governed.
Consent of the governed.
The governed are the people. Consent comes from the people.
If elections don't belong to the people, there is no consent, and there is no authority to govern.
Article 1-22 of our State Constitution:
”there shall be no hindrance or impediment to the right of qualified voters to exercise the elective franchise.”
The right to exercise the elective franchise inherently infers the right to exercise an honest elective franchise.
If the elective franchise is corrupted in any way, or stolen, it is not an elective franchise. It is a charade, and the people are reduced to slavery…because once the right to an honest elective franchise is taken away, no other rights are secure—short the taking up of arms. (See Declaration. It's the foundation of our Country.)
The right to exercise the elective franchise also infers the right to exercise the FULL elective franchise.
Votes don't count themselves.
The right to exercise the elective franchise inherently includes the right to count votes, or at least the right to watch and to KNOW that they've been counted honestly.
Never has it been easier to make vote-counting fully transparent to everyone and verifiable by everyone.
As it stands right now, the people have NO access or ability whatsoever to watch and verify vote counts. (Self-audits of a few precincts mean absolutely nothing.)
This is a very serious problem.
It’s actually an existential threat to the entire American experiment is self-government and Liberty.
No transparency and no verifiability means no integrity. There is only one reason for such secrecy—fraud.
Who is perpetrating this fraud upon us?
Our Legislature and SoS office are.
Together, you have usurped power from the governed and used it to take away our right to Watchfulness in our vote-counting.
You have unconstitutionally and unlawfully delegated that power to a private corporation that counts our votes in secret, with secret software, AWAY from the watchful prying eyes of We the People to whom elections belong.
Our "elections' currently amount to nothing more than a corporation-controlled charade.
And We the People are very upset about it.
We are very upset about the fact that our Legislature and our SoS office work more for ES&S than for We the People
The machines can't be trusted. They shouldn't be trusted. We have no obligation to trust them. They can't be secured. Silly air-gap or no silly air-gap. (Evnen has the stupidest talking points.)
The Salvation of the State is NOT Trust in the Citizen, but WATCHFULNESS.
Corporations, especially those who can hide ownership, are more susceptible to bribes than the poor single mother Evnen constantly tries to denigrate.
Voting and vote-counting both belong with the People.
They are the means of our all-important CONSENT.
I'll conclude with this:
Article I-26 of our state constitution:
"...all powers not herein delegated, remain with the people."
The current "election" bills do NOT do justice to the cause of election integrity.
Evnen and Bena are NOT serving the People. They are serving ES&S and themselves.
We the People demand our elections back. No one can argue with election integrity. No one wants their vote fractionalized and counted less than the next guy.
