Dear Friends,

I had yet to directly address the Secretary’s office over my complaint, so I just did so. I included a number of his staff members. I also copied a number of other government officials in on the email (members of the executive branch, members of Lancaster Co government, etc).

I’m still looking for a legal remedy to this problem. In the meantime, I thought I’d hit him up directly. Obviously, I’m trolling him. Maybe he’ll sue me for defamation and I can bring my evidence in defense.

Here’s the letter:

Friends and Officials-

We have a thief in the Secretary's office.

In 2022, I filed an affidavit with the Secretary and paid the $1050.00 filing fee to become an *official write-in candidate for governor so that my write-in votes would be hand-counted, in line with NRS 32-615 and 32-1005.

In the Secretary's confirmation letter (attached), he assured me that, "Your name will be counted should it be written on the applicable write-in line on the ballot." There were no qualifications.

Who pays $1050 without being assured that their votes will be counted?

When it came time to "count" votes, the Secretary decided to practice lawfare and deprivation of civil rights under the color of law (32-1008) and NOT count my votes.

My civil right, and the civil right of my supporters, to exercise the elective franchise and have our votes honestly and verifiably counted, was violated. We were intentionally and dishonestly disenfranchised.

But this modus operandi is nothing new for Evnen. He's long been practicing election lawfare (ever since he took office) by violating the first principle of Nebraska election law as found in 32-102:
"The act shall be liberally construed so that the will of the registered voters is not defeated by . . . the conducting of any election or the certifying of the results of the election."

Evnen has been defeating the will of voters by the way in which he conducts our all important vote-counts and certifies the results. There's no verifiability to any of it. He uses a secret private company (who happen to be his friends) with secret software, secret hardware and no accountability to voters, to count our votes. "[T]here shall be no hindrance or impediment to the right of a qualified voter to exercise the elective franchise." Article I-22. Secret vote-counts must be assumed to be an impediment to the right of every voter to exercise an honest and verifiable elective franchise, from beginning to end, i.e., from the casting of votes to the county of votes.

Evnen claims that a few secret precinct hand-counts prove accuracy in our vote-counts, but a computerized "counting" process can very easily be programmed to compartmentalize fraud in the counting of votes.

Evnen refuses to allow voters to exercise that all important Citizen Watchfulness that is the Salvation of the State, in our vote-counts.

Evnen's very secret and highly centralized vote-counts are a very bad idea. There's only ONE reason for them, and that is to manipulate the results.

Evnen stole my $1050. He stole my vote and the votes of my supporters. Is there no justice in this state? Is there no remedy? Are there ANY honest oath-takers in this state who are performing their constitutional duty to secure the rights of the people, per Article I-1, or is Nebraska government totally corrupt??
