Dear Friends,
I signed up to be a delegate last year for the Republican Party. I haven’t attended a Party meeting in well over a year. But because I still hold delegate credentials, I was approached recently and asked to attend the upcoming local county convention so I could cast a vote for a “conservative” chair candidate and thereby help prevent the swamp from taking back control of the local Party.
Hmm.
Obviously, the person who approached me was implicitly admitting that the Republican Party is deeply divided.
I would say it’s more than deeply divided. I’d say it’s on its death bed, because its leadership can’t figure out where Liberty comes from.
What’s the number one reason why We the People of Nebraska can’t have fair, honest, transparent and verifiable—i.e., constitutional—elections??
The number one reason is that we have a slimeball Republican in our SoS office (for which there is no evidence he was ever actually elected) who refuses to administer our elections in a constitutional manner.
The number two reason is that we have spineless “public servants” in other branches and at other levels of government who refuse to do their job of holding Evnen accountable. (There’s no evidence any of these people were actually elected, either.)
The number three reason comes by way of answering the question, what is the state Republican Party doing about it??
The answer is, NOTHING…except playing church…and acting like they’re holier than Jesus. They’re trying to add to the Word of God and institute an 11th commandment that says, Thou shalt not call a RINO a RINO.
…and that’s what they call leadership…and that’s what they call getting things done. (Nevermind the other 10 commandments.)
A much better strategy would be to grow some backbone and tell slimeball Evnen he’s no longer welcome in the Party.
And if the Republican Party says they have no provisions for excluding bad people from the ranks, woe is them. Pretending they’re holier than Jesus will be their demise. It’s funny when you consider that Chairman Underwood once said he was “made for such a time as this.” Newsflash: Esther secured the means by which her people could go to literal war with their enemies and slaughter them. Government was designed by God to “execute wrath on him that doeth evil.”)
It doesn’t get more evil than stealing the means by which a civil society is maintained—the integrity of our votes.
The Republican Party would be better off with a Democrat in the SoS office. He/she certainly couldn’t be any worse than Evnen, and the Party would unite against him/her.
As it is, Evnen is giving the Party a very bad name, and the Party is silent.
I guess 2+2 is too hard for the Republican Party to figure out.
Here’s the most recent from Underwood in a fund-raising letter:
^^ “It is crucial that we elect…”??? Underwood still thinks our elections are legit! He’s either clueless or sold out.
And here’s another where he talks about education and then puts the spotlight on (i.e., endorses the words of) Ricketts’-appointee Kathleen Kauth:
Kathleen is likewise either clueless or sold out. Watching the hand counts of a few precincts will do absolutely no good whatsoever. And I wonder what kind of agreement she made with Ricketts, who will be looking to get “re-elected” before we know it. (The only way he gets “re-elected” is if we still have the hackable central black box vote-counting machines and stuffable digital online voter rolls.)
As far as education goes, the communist takeover of our government school system is almost complete. We will never have real public education again without real elections.
One more piece of GOP correspondence and I’ll close (maybe). This time from the Party at the national level (this was forwarded to me by a friend):
Did you catch that? Republicans want to be like the Democrats! They want to ballot harvest. They’ll never win that way. NEVER.
Here’s the last thing I’ll share. The John Birch Society addresses our political party system. Quoting:
Another source of division among the people is political parties. Again, had Americans heeded the advice of our Founders, the country would be much better off. Let’s recall George Washington’s 1796 Farewell Address, in which he warned of the dangers of organized political parties.
He wrote, “... they are likely, in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people, and to usurp for themselves the reins of government; destroying afterwards the very engines, which have lifted them to unjust dominion.”
Cleon Skousen summarized in The Majesty of God's Law, “Washington then went on to predict that if party politics ever became the established way of life in America, we would find that as soon as an election was over the winning party would undergo continual harassment from the losing party, and the losing party would employ every trick and conniving device to prevent the winning party from carrying out the will of the people.”
Seeing how this reflects the state of politics today, it may seem that Washington was clairvoyant. Rather, he was a student of history and understood that principles had much more staying power than human behavior. He correctly applied the devolution of human behavior away from principles to using the political-party system for self-promotion, glorification, and enrichment. Isn't this what the Bible clearly shows us what happens as God's people get further away from Him?
Skousen opens his book in Chapter I by citing a study of the books the Founding Fathers relied upon to get their ideas for the Constitution. He wrote, ““Of the thousands of citations quoted to support their ideas, 34% came from one source — the Bible. Most of these were from the book of Deuteronomy which is the Book of God's Law.” Indeed, even the Bill of Rights is a codifying of the Ten Commandments.
We would do well to stick to principles and not be swayed by the latest gimmick that promises to rein in the federal government, or by the completely foolish rhetoric of political parties that promise results through unconstitutional means.
Final Thoughts:
—Election non-transparency is fraud.
—The Republican Party puts its stamp on election fraud by accepting the “results” of hackable electronic black-box vote-counting.
—There is no freedom without honest elections and justice.
—Until we take the money out of politics, corruption will abound.
Wisdom for the Day
Proverbs Chapter 1 is in play:
Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying, How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. (Pro 1:20-32)
A house divided against itself shall not stand.
God bless,
Robert J. Borer
P.S.
Several last year delegates have opted out.
If the party can't and won't voice that the voting system is corrupt then there is your answer.
They may all doubt their positions are legit.
Until I hear our voting system is CORRUPT by someone in office they can ALL take a nosedive back into their swamp party.
Pretty darn diffucalt to vote for conservative candidates when they lie and cheat or are slected to get in.
Thanks sir for another great write up.
Keep those arrows flying.🏹
Much mulling to do.
Tomorrow I can't go to Lincoln, so Omaha for me. I believe I'll pound on the implied contract from a couple recent angles: the Mississippi ES&S debacle where ES&S should have gotten real time notice that their products were being manipulated, and something else that isn't coming to mind right now....
ES&S has had all the warnings any company that large should need to address their products' vulnerabilities. They OBVIOUSLY WANT their products to be vulnerable. There is no other rationale to arrive at.
