the primary threat to the peaceful transfer of power

Dear Friends,

I didn’t make the county board meeting yesterday. Instead, I shoved the message found below in their faces 15 minutes prior to the meeting, via email. I included the sheriff, county attorney, election commissioner and a host of others. (The title of the email was the title of this substack.)

Message (no salutation or valediction):

All elections, across the country, are conducted at the county level. 

With very few exceptions, those elections are conducted in secret using private corporations with ulterior motives. 

County governments are not exercising due diligence, likely because of their own ulterior motives (or fear).

This makes county government the primary threat to the peaceful transfer of power. (State government actors are only a  secondary threat. Counties were created for a reason. To make government more responsive to the People. To give the People more control over the way government works and serves them.)

The only reason for secrecy in elections, excepting the secret ballot, is to commit fraud.

County government will be responsible for all the upcoming civil unrest surrounding the "election."
