Dear Friends,
I got up a few minutes after 5:00 this morning for some prayer and devotional time. That time ended up including a fresh read of the story of Esther. (You can find that small book right before the book of Job.)
What a fantastic story. What a miraculous story, that often hinges on the seemingly UNmiraculous.
The striking turn of events in the story hinge on any one of the following:
—the backbone, fortitude and wisdom of one man named Mordecai
—Esther being willing to literally risk her life (“if I perish, I perish”)
—God’s people praying and fasting for three days
—the king not being able to sleep one night (this one is especially interesting to me, as there’s nothing overtly dramatic about the fact that he couldn’t sleep, but it plays a HUGE factor in the overall story)
So….
I hear I stepped on some toes with my letter yesterday. Good. That was my objective.
People misjudge my motivation.
I’m not in this for myself, or a position, or an office or power or money. Someone else can have the stupid SoS job, as long as he/she gives us honest, transparent and real elections.
I’m in this for a cause. That cause is government of, by and for the People (over and against government of, by and for the rich, or the Party, or any other special interest group).
Nothing I’ve done in this fight has made me any money. Quite to the contrary, it has cost me lots of my own money.
So be it. I’m not complaining. It was my decision, under God. I’ve enjoyed serving my God, my country, my family and my “fellow man.” The best part, besides pleasing God, is all the new friends I’ve made.
What amazes me about the negop leadership is how clueless they still are about the gravity of the situation we’re in.
We’re literally at war with globalists who want to destroy us. And we may very well have to take up arms in the near future to defend ourselves, just as the People of God did in the story of Esther above. (I left that point out above so I could reference it hear.)
What makes us think it won’t come to that point for us, when it came to that point in Esther’s time? That’s right. God’s People literally had to take up “arms” and destroy their enemies themselves, with His help, of course. (And this wasn’t the last time.)
In other words, after all God did by giving Esther and Mordecai wisdom, strength and favor—and keeping the king up late one night, the People of God still had to defend themselves and kill their enemies.
I get the impression that some gop people would lay down and die if 1776 happened all over again. I mean it. Come on. If they don’t have the backbone to call a RINO and RINO, where are they going to find the backbone to pick up a weapon and fire it??
Okay, okay. I’m fine with it if some people would rather lay down and die than fight. The “herd” needs culling. God has done so numerous times throughout history. I’ll defend the women and children, but not spineless men.
The big question that seems lost on the negop is this, Why is our country in such a mess?? Why is our state in such a mess??
The answer is simple. Because our elections are in such a huge mess. Get a clue, negop. Particularly about the fact that nothing is going to change about the mess we call “elections,” without a serious fight. Nice doesn’t cut it. You’re not going to be politically respected until you’re politically feared. By the time the negop is done playing games, the county will be lost.

Reader responses to yesterday’s letter:
Reagan used to say he didn’t leave the democrat party, the party left him and now we can say the same for the republican party. Our enemies know control of both parties is strategic in conquering our nation and that’s just what they’ve done.
When something outlives it’s usefulness, it implies it’s continuing to do the same thing, but the same thing is no longer needed, as in most of us no longer need buggy whips. That’s not the case here.
It’s not that it’s outlived its usefulness, it’s that it’s been hijacked. The name may be the same, but it’s a different party now, and it is no longer serving we the people (i.e., it’s no longer doing what it once did). —Dean Christensen
Omg - my sentiments exactly! I'm so fed up with anything republican! The FF's warned us about "Factions", and "Parties!" Consult the Federalist and Anti-Federalist Papers,......! —Larry Storer
Amen! These guys are all about government for the party and by the party. You’re not going to find even a remote indication of ‘By the people, For the people’. Time for a true change and someone who calls it like it is! —Chrispy
Has the republican party outlived its usefulness? Short answer: Yes.
Long answer:
1) Every election cycle, they ratchet up the fear: Oh my God if you don't vote for us a DEMOCRAT might win. Yeah? Big deal. There's no difference at all. What have we seen since the Babbling Cadaver and his Leftist string pullers stole the election? 'Hearings'. 'Investigations.' 'Strongly worded letters.' Bupkus. Political kabuki designed to make it look like the GOP is actually doing something when it's all just for show. We elect a Republican President in 2024 and give them Congress, they'll go right back to being corrupt and glad-handing each other.
I remember seeing a quote some place that said, 'The Democrats promise to steal your money and give it to people who did nothing to earn it and don't deserve it. The Republicans promise to steal slightly LESS of your money and give it to people who did nothing to earn it and don't deserve it.' That pretty much encapsulates the state of the two party system and the GOP.
2) This from a friend in an e-mail exchange on this very subject several months ago:
"I'll never forget when I first began to understand that the Republican party was a sham. It was just prior to them losing Congress in 2006 during Bush's second term. I received a slew of hair-on-fire mailings from the party screaming about how they needed money now to defeat the evil Democrats who were going to codify Roe into permanent law. Won't you help us defeat them once and for all?
As I stood in my kitchen leaning against the counter and reading through the boldfaced, capitalized and screaming urgency text it hit me. We had given them both the presidency, the entirety of Congress and other than the wildcard Justice Kennedy the Supreme Court. And did they even ONCE do anything that could even remotely be construed as taking a proactive pro-life item...a bill or otherwise...and move it through the process?
Nope. Not a single f***ing thing. Six years. Not one iota.
It was at that moment that my wallet closed. "
3) The GOP took a shellacking on Nov 7th in key races. Why? Because, in my opinion, we have ersatz RINOs who stand for nothing. They pander to 'conservatism' and ride the line by pandering equally to the woke crowd. And ultimately stand for nothing at all other than enriching themselves and a 'party' that has no cause other than its own enrichment. Just a variation on the Democrat theme. Kevin McCarthy could not be reached for comment.
Why do you think the GOP is fighting as hard AGAINST Donald Trump as the Democrats? A united America means every bit as many people rejecting the GOP as rejecting the Democrats. The GOP (at both the national and state levels) has every bit as much a vested interest in identity politics as the Democrat Party. What the Democrats have done is taken the absolute fringe minority of crazies, united them and weaponized them under their 'woke' banner.
Real Americans, who have no representation at the moment, other than Donald Trump; could be united. We are the majority. Let the 'woke' mob own the media etc....we are still the majority. And the Republican Party has made it clear that they reject us uniting under Donald J. Trump and will only accept us uniting under their corrupted GOP 'party.' Not under 'America', under the party.
Have they outlived their usefulness? Bet your ass they have. —John Roby
Here’s the promised letter (half of it) put out by Eric Underwood a day before the election a year ago. I was running as a write-in for governor at the time, thinking we could force a hand count. But commies don’t count votes, they just make up numbers. Still, I had no regrets. I had great fun, made lots more friends, and learned a lot. Give this a read and then tell me what you think. I thought it was idiotic. The logic made no sense. At the same time, I thought, “Wow, he must consider me a real threat.”
Bottom line? Eric didn’t want people voting their conscience or casting their vote on principle, he wanted them voting Party nominee line, because he was afraid we would end up with Carol Blood. (Nevermind how worthless Pillen is.) Not that I wasn’t dead serious about winning and securing our elective franchise from the communists just as soon as I got elected, but who knows what good a Governor Carol Blood could have done toward waking up the People? Certainly Eric didn’t. Better to keep republicans asleep, I guess. (I can share the other half of the letter another time. This is getting a bit long.)

…
First, did you know that 20% of all ballots are already hand-counted because of a write-in component? Think about it. Many races require a write-in for down ballot races, such as in my small town of Malcolm…there will be at least 200 write-in ballots for the school board, in a race with approximately 300+ vote totals. Two-thirds of the ballots will be separated and hand-counted just for Malcolm School Board.
How about the arrogant voter that writes their own name for president?
Ever seen the jokesters post on Facebook or Twitter, the write-in name of Mickey Mouse for Mayor?
There's no NEW forced anomaly by having a Governor's race write-in campaign. Now…the conspiracy theorists seemingly don't trust the people who support the machines, and the past administration who manipulates the machines, but you, the write-in VOTER for Governor, just identified yourselves to them. The conspiracy theorist may say “Who cares if the write-in concept has happened in the past, this way I KNOW that MY ballot is pulled out, hand-counted, and the machine's can't cheat. Of course, that MEANS “they” pulled your ballot for write-in Governor AND ALL your other votes…for school board and County Attorney and legislative district get pulled out too.
Personally, I'm not willing to risk my vote for Pat Condon for Lancaster County Attorney, or Mike Foley for State Auditor, or Trevin Preble for Lancaster Public Defender, or Mike Flood for Congress, or Kirk Penner for Board of Education. I wouldn't RISK my Marni Hodgen for Board of Education VOTE, or my Aaron Hanson for Douglas County Sheriff VOTE, or Chris Bruns for LD#42 VOTE, or Kathy Wilmot for Regents.
I'm not willing to RISK all my OTHER votes on ONE race if I think my ballot will be flagged now. I'm not willing to sacrifice the GOALS of #36Strong Legislators at the Unicameral, or the goal of FOUR State Board of Education, or ALL the down ballot school boards like Team SET in Elkhorn, or Norris or Millard or Kearney or Scottsbluff. I'm not willing to risk the cutting in half of the 700+ elected Democrats across the state of Nebraska for one race.
Carol Blood would be a disaster for the State of Nebraska. I’m not willing to risk a Democrat Governor and their liberal agenda destroying Nebraska. I’m not willing to risk the extreme difficulty that would ensue trying to pass Conservative legislation if a Democratic candidate would win the Governor’s seat. We have a Primary process in Nebraska for partisan races and Jim Pillen won the Primary for the Republican Governor nominee. Yes, the State of Nebraska has an option for getting another name ON THE BALLOT by collecting 4000 signatures (including 750 each from the Congressional Districts), but no candidate completed those requirements. There is only ONE Republican name on the Governor’s ballot in 2022 and that’s Jim Pillen and the NEGOP supports his race. Otherwise, every Tom, Dick, Harry, and Mickey Mouse could split the party via attempts of write-in and say the NEGOP should endorse them just because they are Republican.
Here’s my two cents for November 8th & what I believe all Republicans should do. First, GO VOTE. Find your POLLING STATION, make a plan, and find time to vote on Tuesday, November 8th. Tell people WHY you vote. When you get to the polling station…show your ID (even if they don’t ask) and sign your name with pride. Flip your ballot over or go directly to the bottom races. Vote the “down ballots”, FIRST. Build YOUR town, your school boards, your party & your kids future from the GROUND UP. Vote all the way UP your ballot. And then go home, pray for our leaders, grab some popcorn, and watch the #REDWAVE wash over Nebraska. Then on November 9th, the NEGOP will continue to fight for election accountability and voter verification and ALL our Platform Values, utilizing our Legislative Plan and guided by those same Platform values. On November 9th, let’s get to work creating real change in Nebraska and protecting the Good Life.

Word left out.
I’m in this *for a cause.
Whooo boy....where to start with that?
"Ever seen the jokesters post on Facebook or Twitter, the write-in name of Mickey Mouse for Mayor?"
Hey Eric, turn that razor sharp introspection on your own party and ask WHY those 'jokesters' have done that. Does it enter your conscious at all that maybe, just maybe, there are people out there who see your two party system as a political gag reel and choose to write in a cartoon character vs. cast a vote whatever political hair ball your party coughed up? Is voting a serious thing? Absolutely, you're exercising force. Are there 'jokesters'? To be sure. But, does it not point to the degradation of trust in our processes and the candidates we produce that people do this? You, the Uniparty, give them two variations of the same swill and then point fingers at them for not taking it seriously? There's a problem with these jokesters alright Eric and if you want to know what it is, look in the mirror.
"Carol Blood would be a disaster for the State of Nebraska. I’m not willing to risk a Democrat Governor and their liberal agenda destroying Nebraska. I’m not willing to risk the extreme difficulty that would ensue trying to pass Conservative legislation if a Democratic candidate would win the Governor’s seat. "
Here's the scare mongering I was referring to in my post yesterday. Pray tell me, Eric what conservative legislation has your ersatz conservative shill Jim Pillen passed? Voter ID? Oh wait...that hasn't been implemented yet and your own party is doing its very best to eviscerate it. Term limits? Yeah, Suzanne Geist and the GOP are doing their very best to destroy that as well. Why? Well, the answer I got when I grilled Geist about was because, 'When we pass legislation the permanent bureaucratic class in the state government knows they can just wait out whatever senator passed it and then ignore when they're gone. It takes 8-12 YEARS to get legislation implemented.' And yet I hear NOTHING from the NE GOP about draining our little corner of the swamp. Dismantle the permanent bureaucratic apparatus that thwarts the will of the people? Perish the thought. Let's destroy that very will by destroying term limits and giving legislators MORE time in the legislature. So the answer to the failure of government is MORE government. And you expect me to take this argument seriously.
"Then on November 9th, the NEGOP will continue to fight for election accountability and voter verification and ALL our Platform Values, utilizing our Legislative Plan and guided by those same Platform values. On November 9th, let’s get to work creating real change in Nebraska and protecting the Good Life."
Continue? I'm still waiting for you to start. See the examples I previously sited about how the NE GOP is seeking to undermine and thwart those very things. Your talk of 'platform values ' is only presumption. "Real change in Nebraska and protecting the Good Life" is an empty slogan. Only when you speak of self and party enrichment and corruption are you informed.
"And then go home, pray for our leaders, grab some popcorn, and watch the #REDWAVE wash over Nebraska."
This certainly aged well, Eric.
