Dear Friends,

I sent out another letter to all the usual suspects under the subject title above. But before I get to that, I want to share some interaction I had with one of my local county commissioners—Matt Schulte.

Matt responded to an email I wrote on Monday the contained the exact same thing I shared via substack. See here. (I’m making this public because Matt responded from his government account.)

Matt wrote this:

Why is name calling your defacto approach? When you make slanderous comments it kills all conversation.

I responded with this:

Matt,
Thank you for the response.
What makes you think there is any conversation to kill?
These people aren't listening.
We call a spade a spade, just like Christ did, for the benefit of the common man.
We shouldn't try to be holier than Him.
Names Jesus Called the Scribes and Pharisees (Bible.org)
1. Ye blind guides (Matt. 23:16).
2. Ye fools (Matt. 23:17).
3. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees…for ye are like whited supulchres…full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness (Matt. 23:27).
4. Ye serpents (Matt. 23:33).
5. Ye generation of vipers (Matt. 23:33).
6. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! (Luke 11:44).

…and then responded again with this one line:

The situation is dire.

…and then again with this one line:

China should not be in our elections. That's war.

Matt then responded with this:

Complete misuse of scripture.
Christ was speaking boldly to save souls from eternal damnation and to stop people from ushering others into that separation from God.
Election security is not a spiritual issue it’s a thing of this world.
I am just encouraging you to consider civility. Unfortunately name calling crosses that line.

I then responded with this:

Dear Commissioner Schulte,
You don't think election security is a spiritual issue?? Then we've stumbled upon the problem.
Human government is part of the moral government of God, and a just, moral and righteous human government has everything to do with the glory of God.
I encourage you to listen to a correct exegesis of Romans 13 here.
Thanks for responding.

…and then again with this:

Matt,
Divers weights and divers measures (cheating) are an abomination to God, especially in government.
(Pro 20:10  Divers weights, and divers measures, both of them are alike abomination to the LORD.)

Now then, here’s the letter I just sent a few minutes ago:

Dear Friends/Concerned Citizens and Public Servants-

I'm an official Admiral in the Great Navy of the State of Nebraska (appointed by Governor Mike Johanns back in 2002), so I know when someone is trying to sell me oceanfront property in Nebraska.

Wayne Bena is such a salesman. And the "oceanfront property" he's selling is really a Superfund hazardous waste site that he has lightly covered over with six inches of sand. 

His price for five acres of “oceanfront”?

16 million, payable over 7 years, with no guarantee of customer satisfaction!

Obviously, I'm drawing an analogy to his extremely-hazardous-to-your-God-given-rights computerized election system. Not only is this system complete and utter garbage, it is toxic garbage that severely harms all who come near it. 

Did I say 16M? The exact amount of Bena's contract, at present, is $15,746,546.10, complete with $210 thumb drives and $1,100/election day support. But don't worry, it's been updated and added to three times already since 2020. So it'll get added to again and again before it expires in 2027. See contract here: statecontracts.nebraska.gov .

ES&S knows how to "milk" their customers. Not that they have to, because Bena just gives them whatever they want. 

He doesn't know how to negotiate. Heck, he doesn't even know how to put out a Request for Proposal. Nor how to hand-count votes. Nor figure out how to reconcile election records so he has a list of everyone who votes in a given election. 

I'm telling you, our elections are garbage. 

This all amounts to highway robbery against ALL Nebraska taxpayers, including non-voters.

The taxpayer money Bena is spending to make the rich people at the top of ES&S even richer, could be going to help common Nebraska voters who are willing to help hand-count votes at the precinct level.
