law vs lawfare pt 1

I’ll get to the point really quick.

I mentioned William Blackstone, the father of American jurisprudence, a couple of letters ago (namely here) when I drew a distinction between the letter and spirit of the law.

I discovered Blackstone’s Commentaries some 35 years ago when I was studying theology. I had been reading about a certain famous 19th century preacher who was dramatically converted by reading Blackstone’s Commentaries as a young law student.

(The Commentaries contained Biblical references. After this young law student’s dramatic conversion, he decided he could no longer pursue a career at the bar of man representing the quarrels of men against one another, but instead would pursue a career at the bar of God, representing the just demands of a righteous God against rebellious man. He was part of the Second Great Awakening.)

I was so interested in reading Blackstone for myself (the internet wasn’t a thing back then), that I found myself at Kansas City’s huge main downtown public library—this was in my early 30’s—looking up an original copy and then using a copier to take a several pages home with me.

Here’s a quote from the Commentaries wherein Blackstone gives an example of the letter and the spirit of the law:

Moral of the above story: The man could not claim the benefits of the letter of the law because he did not meet the conditions of the spirit (reason) of the law.

What is lawfare? Lawfare is law warfare. It is using the letter of the law, or parts of the law as a weapon. It is the weaponization of “law.”

And lawfare is exactly what our SoS is engaging in when he denies voters agency in THEIR elections…i.e., when he denies voters transparency and verifiability in their elections.

In other words, Evnen is at WAR with voters. That is no exaggeration. He’s an enemy of Nebraska voters, whether people know it or not. Moreover, he’s their/your/our primary enemy, because election integrity is fundamental to our constitutional republic and liberties.

Evnen has no statutory defense for being at war with voters. There can’t be any statutory defense. Laws cannot be written to undermine our God-given and constitutionally protected elective franchise. Whatever laws are on the books regarding elections can’t be interpreted to deny voters agency and verifiability in their elections.

And there is no statutory defense for the machines. It is a fact that they are easily hackable. Therefore, they cannot be trusted. And therefore, they must be removed.

The contracts are null and void when software is “proprietary.” The contracts are null and void when voters can’t verify their elections.

Why is Evnen at war with voters? Most likely because two of his primary associations, the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS), and the black box “voting” machine company alliance they support, are at WAR with voters (voters at large). And he doesn’t have the character or integrity to stand alone and do what’s right and just.

Notice the date. November 12th. The above claims were made just 9 days after the “election.” Such claims could not possibly have been made by then. You can’t still be “reviewing” and “double-checking” results and saying they are the most secure results in American history at the same time. This is how we know that such a statement was nothing more than propaganda, put out by a “government” that is at war with its citizens.

Elections have consequences. S-elections have consequences. Everything that happens now will be a function of the last election/s-election. We’ll see how it goes. So far, it’s not looking good from Pillen. There’s already evidence he thinks he’s above the law. No surprise. We’ll explore more of that in the near future.

The only other thing I have left is this.

Would someone please ask Eric Underwood if he believes the 2020 election was stolen? (It’s not about Trump, it’s about whether We the People have a voice or not.) The goings on in AZ and elsewhere confirm that “The Steal” is still going on nationwide.

Eric’s answer will tell us if he’s part of the swamp or not. If he says he doesn’t know, well then, he’s the swamp.
