Dear Friends,
In a real world, where We, the People really believed We had the power, political candidates and public servants wouldn’t be treated as anything special (unless of course they really, really did do something special, and kept doing it).
In a real world, We the People would have serious expectations of political candidates, by which they would be vetted, and then held accountable, by watchful citizens who didn’t take anything for granted.
In a real world, We the People would hold candidates accountable for addressing the most important issue of the day.
In a real world, given the times we are in, We the People would expect candidates to be presented with something like the following, and expected to sign on, or lose getting our vote, Period. There would be no resorting to voting for them out of fear that the Democrats would win. Better to be awake than asleep and that’s what party voting does, it puts party members to sleep, which is what politicians (of both parties) really like.
Here’s “the following”:
We the People, holding true to our Constitution, and to transparent, accurate and verifiable Consent, resolve that all candidates looking for our support MUST sign and pledge to support and promote the following precepts (regardless of their present alleged legality/illegality), or else forfeit our support.
No candidate who refuses to commit to doing all he/she can to support these precepts shall receive our vote. If no candidate supports these precepts, then no candidate will get our vote, Period.
Note: We are not asking for anything more than support for all these IDEAS, now and in the future. We are not asking anyone to put themselves at risk before any “laws,” real or so-called, constitutional or unconstitutional.
The Ten Precepts
1) Only registered citizens can vote.
2) Ballots shall be counterfeit-proof. Ballots shall be printed with control numbers so that the number of ballots prepared for an election can be reconciled with the number of ballots used and the number of ballots left over. Leftover ballots include mismarked and damaged ballots. No ballots shall be destroyed. A reconciliation between ballots printed and ballots used shall be provided to the Public free of charge for scrutiny after every election that includes the ballot control numbers. This reconciliation shall be posted online for public access and scrutiny.
3) Voter rolls shall be posted two weeks before an election, for public access and scrutiny. Any additional registrations made after two weeks prior and before Election Day shall be posted for public access on Election Day. No registrations shall be accepted on Election Day.
4) Paper precinct voter rolls shall be updated prior to delivery to the polls on Election Day.
5) All voting shall be in person with a photo ID, at the designated precinct, on Election Day. The candidate signing this document pledges to vote with a photo ID on Election Day at his or her precinct.
6) The only exceptions to #5 are the following: an inability to vote on election day because of work, military duty, disability or confinement to bed. All such absentee ballots must be completed, sealed in the envelope provided and delivered to the election office prior to Election Day, in person with a photo ID;
OR, if unable to present the ballot in person, the sealed envelope containing the ballot must be accompanied by an affidavit containing the reason for voting absentee along with a photocopy of the voter's ID.
No absentee ballots shall be accepted on or after Election Day.
The election office shall not open any received absentee ballot envelopes.
All envelopes containing absentee ballots received by the election office prior to Election Day shall be delivered by the election office to the proper precinct before the polls open on Election Day.
All envelopes containing absentee ballots shall remain sealed at the precinct until the polls close on Election Day.
The name on the envelope shall be reconciled with the poll book after the polls close and before the envelope is opened. The privacy of the ballot must be maintained by sliding it into a ballot box. Two witnesses shall verify that all absentee ballots are handled so as to not disclose the voter’s selections.
7) Vote tallies shall be conducted by hand at the precinct after the polls close. Callers, call watchers, talliers and tally watchers shall be in place when the polls close. There shall be at least three talliers for each race. All respective race tallies must agree or be redone. Members of the public shall be allowed to watch as space permits and may keep their own tallies. [More details to follow.]
8) No race tally shall exceed the number of voters, unless the race calls for voting for more than one candidate.
9) Results shall be posted at the precinct BEFORE being delivered/sent to the election office.
10) All ballots, tally documents, envelopes, poll books, etc shall be secured and delivered to the election office.
11) This last precept applies to the candidate. By signing this Resolution, the candidate agrees to NOT sell out to corporations. In other words, to NOT take money from corporations.Candidate Names and Signatures
___________________________________________________________
Note:
This Resolution does not require a vote of party members or delegates. It is an informal Resolution that just needs to be read and then presented to anyone (and that means everyone) who wants our vote, whether they be a candidate for public office, a candidate for party officer, a candidate for state delegate, a committee person or precinct captain.
This Resolution is not foolproof. Candidates can still lie. But it does put their name and signature on a document with a specific set of precepts. We need something to hold people accountable to, beyond a general oath to our Constitution that most never read and many claim they can't understand.
Before We the People can bring integrity back to our government, we must first bring integrity back to our ballot box, back to our use of the ballot box and back to our Party's use of the ballot box. Needless to say, We must also do our best to verify the integrity of each candidate. All of which this Resolution attempts to do.
If we were to use this, we can't be wishy washy about it. We must mean business, which means, if a given candidate refuses to sign it, they really don't get our vote, period...which means THEY are letting the Democrats win, not us.
Obviously, We will also need to establish a collection point for signed documents and names of People who support NOT voting. If we don't make known who We are and how many We are who refuse to vote for certain candidates, it does no good.
It may very well be part of Trump's mission to destroy the divisive, corrupt, money-grubbing two party system???
Dedicated Democrats are definitely idiots. But then, so are dedicated Republicans. Both sell out to big money.
If We can't unite over America First and the principles of the Declaration, we're done, we're toast. Or another civil war is coming, to eliminate tyrants and traitors.
So much more to share. Hopefully tomorrow.
(Forgive any errors/typos. If you see any, let me know in the comments. Moving fast this morning.)
Last but not least, if a real world, We the People would own our politicians, not special interests.

P.S.
In a real world, We the People would really believe this:

Annotations:
Our current government is the one our Founders warned us about:
A good start - tell Ne Legislature to Kill/Amend existing election statutes/amendments/new bills - such as LB 1390 under We the Peoples' direction that THEY and their bills ARE the real Fakes and are Unconstitutional, so are they for dishonoring their oaths! Our State Convention to Propose Amendments to accomplish this - must be called (by our AG, Co. Attorneys, Co. Sheriffs- before the Primary! No ""parties" involved and the Party System to be abolished. Popular vote and no "electors". We are the electors and don't need Party appointed "electors" to steal our votes!
Trump et. al. are restructuring the National Convention and the so called Republican Convention - as we speak - Good time for a clear, ... ,no holds barred Convention, platform! 1776?
This is outstanding!!
I think this should be done!!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts!!
