Dear Friends,
I have a story to tell (and one that may take two or three days, but we’ll see).
Yesterday (Nov 7th) was the anniversary of a very telling letter that NEGOP Chairman Eric Underwood wrote and sent across the state. I want to revisit that letter, but first I have a question.
Is Donald Trump a “Party” man? In other words, is he all about “the Party”? Has he really embraced the Republican Party, or has he simply been using it as a vehicle for a greater cause. What exactly is his real party affiliation? (click the image below…also see here).
Here’s an interesting statement from another article:
“What is different about Trump, in contrast to his Republican predecessors, is that he has seemed almost completely uninterested in reaching out to new groups or building a new GOP majority for the long-term.”
I agree. I say Trump is not a Party man, but a man of We the People.
Trump is simply an American, a true American, a Make-America-Great-Again American, seeking not to make the Party great again, or even strong again, but to bring the People of our great country back together again, under God (not Party affiliation), which is apparently going to require a national near-death experience, since so many People, in both parties, are still asleep.
But don’t take my word for it. Let’s go back to January 2017, and Trump’s inaugural address, to prove my assertion that Trump in not a Party man:
"What truly matters is not which party controls our government but whether our government is controlled by the People." Listen for yourself here.
And just before that, he said:
"...today, we are not merely transferring power from one administration to another, or from one party to another, but we are transferring power from Washington DC and giving it back to you, the People. For too long a small group in our nation's capital has reaped the rewards of government while the People have borne the cost. Washington flourished but the People did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered but the jobs left and the factories closed. The establishment protected itself but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories. Their triumphs have not been your triumphs. And while they celebrated in our nation's capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land. That all changes starting right here and right now, because this moment is your moment, it belongs to you. It belongs to everyone gathered here today and everyone watching all across America. This is your day, this is your celebration, and this, the United States of America, is your country." Listen for yourself here.
the original republican party had a righteous cause
The original Republican Party had a righteous cause, and that righteous cause was Liberty and Justice for ALL, not just for Republicans, or white people. See here, here, here and here.
Oberlin College (OH) was the tip of the spear in this great cause. They had a great influence upon the nation in regard to slavery. Read the eight reasons under Section II of this paper titled Constitution of the Oberlin Anti-Slavery Society.
Section II is titled: “Reasons. We advocate the immediate emancipation of the slave for the following reasons.”
Here is the first reason (but please, please go and read the other seven…they are all much shorter):
the present day republican party has no such cause
Their only cause is to get Republicans elected, which are usually rich RINOs, not strong, ethical, principled Declaration-of Independence-and-Constitution-loving men and women.
Consider the recent email from Eric Underwood:
$10,,000 to attend a pre-event VIP session with Kari Lake??
Well, what is going on here?? I’m glad you asked. Eric needs money real bad, so he’s catering to the rich. He’s giving “the highest seats” to the rich. (Something I don’t think God can bless.)
Underwood doesn’t have any real accomplishments to sell, or a real message to sell, so he has to resort to selling the opportunity to “rub elbows with Kari Lake.”
It’s obvious the Republican Party has no real cause. The Party is a machine that exists to serve and enrich itself, at the expense of the common man, who brings in the votes.
The biggest cause of our day is election integrity, and that cause is barely even being whispered about in the halls of the “elected” ranks of the Republican Party—when it should be SHOUTED FROM THE HOUSETOPS!!
Our SoS is a “Republican.” 90% of our county election officials are “Republicans.” The majority of our legislators are “Republicans.” Our “governor” is a Republican. And we can’t get any traction at all with these people on election integrity because we’re afraid to call a RINO a RINO…and because we’re afraid to rally the troops, make a big stink (raise holy you-know-what) and harass these so-called public servants into doing their job.
The Republican Party stinks at vetting and endorsing candidates.
We don’t have one strong MAGA Republican in “elected” office in this state (and we’re not going to get one either, with fake elections).
Prominent Party members still kiss up to Evnen!!
We’re fighting another form of slavery, a form that undergirds every other form of it, and Underwood can’t even whisper a peep about it.
This is the status of the present NEGOP. The swamp of the former NEGOP was only replaced by a poorer and “holier” version.
Again, the Party exists to serve and further enrich the already rich (our SoS, for example). The common People in the Party are condemned men (and women), only kept alive to “row well,” pay their club dues and “serve this (Party) ship” (click for short video clip).
Has the Republican Party outlived its usefulness? You tell me.
From my perspective, for all intents and purposes, both parties are dead. Neither one, as a whole, has any spirit or soul left. The current two-party system is part of the swamp. Neither party deserves any patriot money.
I don’t condemn anyone for using the Party as a rallying point, I’m just warning you about the limitations of doing so. Eric will chastise you for calling people RINOs, nevermind calling them “a den of thieves” like Christ did. This current den of thieves steals our God-given rights, and we aren’t allowed to call them what they really are??? How utterly obtuse.
The Foundation for Applied Conservative Leadership had it right all along:
We are not politically respected until we are politically feared.
Ironically, Underwood’s letter revealed his fear, which he was trying to instill in everyone else. Showing fear is not the definition or character of a good leader, period. Instilling fear is absolutely counter to what a good leader does.
I’ll share that letter tomorrow.
To be continued….
God bless,
Robert J. Borer
P.S. The event in York last night with Dr. Frank was outstanding.
