Election integrity warrior extraordinaire Greg Stenstrom brought this short Jordan Peterson segment on what it means to be a Christian to my attention on a call recently. It deserves a dedicated post. (9 min.)

“Full confrontation with malevolence.”

Are we done yet with giving deference/respect to government gangsters?

This is our great downfall, giving deference to evildoers.

Consider the Master:
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! . . . Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? (Mat 23)

Now you can either go that route, or you can simply call a given “elected” (allegedly) official a “public servant.” Either way, they won’t like it. And that is the point. To get under their skin.

Also consider the admonition God gave to Joshua directly:
Be strong and of a good courage . . . Only be thou strong and very courageous (Josh 1)

The righteous are bold as a lion. (Prov 28:1)

One other thing Greg said. “The armor of God is forward-facing.” There is no retreat.

And with that:

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. . . . Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. (Eph 6:10-18)
