Burden Inversion: Has Everyone Lost Their Damn Minds?
Dear Friends-
My latest:
Burden Inversion: Has Everyone Lost Their Damn Minds?
Simple Truth #1: Our elections have been outsourced to a private, computerized “vote tabulation” system that uses a proprietary black box to shield the count from public view.
Simple Truth #2: That system’s black box can easily be programmed to cheat at scale in broad daylight without detection.
Simple Truth #3: We the People are not allowed to verify the validity of the black box’s tabulation of our votes. We are told to simply trust the digital black box; that is absolutely absurd when an honest vote count is the sole source of just government power in our constitutional republic.
The Mechanics of Burden Inversion
The current system operates on a fundamental logical fallacy: it assumes the “Black Box” is honest by default. This creates a state of Administrative Priestcraft, where the burden of proof is shifted away from the state and onto the Sovereign Citizen.
1. The Presumption of Validity
In a true Constitutional Republic (where the People are sovereign and government is the servant), the government bears the burden of proving that its claim to power is legitimate. This requires a transparent, auditable process that any Citizen can observe. However, the use of proprietary systems flips this on its head. The government presents a machine-generated total as an absolute truth, demanding that the Citizenry accept it on faith rather than on evidence.
2. Proving the Negative
By “veiling” the tabulation process within a digital black box, the state places the Citizen in an impossible position. This is Burden Inversion: the Citizen is required to prove a crime occurred while being denied access to the crime scene. To challenge a result, the Citizen is told they must provide “evidence of fraud”—yet the very evidence required is locked inside the proprietary software they are legally barred from inspecting.
3. The Death of Informed Consent
When the burden of proof is inverted, “Consent of the Governed” becomes a hollow phrase. If the People cannot verify the validity of the count, they cannot truly consent to the outcome. We are no longer participants in a self-governing republic; the Citizen is reduced to a mere observer of an administrative ritual.
The Remedy: Radical Legibility
To restore the Republic, we must end the era of Administrative Priestcraft and return to a system where the burden of proof is met through Radical Legibility. This is not a step backward into “inefficiency,” but a step forward into Security and Sovereignty.
1. Tearing the Veil
The only way to verify the validity of an election is to remove the digital intermediary. We must replace the proprietary “black box” with a process that is observable by any Citizen without specialized equipment or secret code. A manual, precinct-level hand count is the only method that satisfies the requirement of public proof.
2. Restoring the Master-Servant Relationship
When the count is performed in the light of day by the Neighbors of the Precinct, the government is once again the servant, demonstrating the count to the People. The burden of proof is satisfied in real-time. There is no “crime scene” to be denied entry to, because the Citizen is a witness to the entire process.
3. Verification over Trust
A Constitutional Republic does not ask for “faith” in a machine; it demands verification of the truth. By moving from a hidden “tabulation industry” to a public “tabulation ceremony,” we restore the validity of the count and, by extension, the legitimacy of the government.
So, we must ask again: Has everyone lost their damn minds? Or will we finally insist on the one thing a Republic cannot survive without?

Another good article that is right on point. The black box vote counting machines must go. Go back to paper ballots hand counted at the precincts.
