Dear Friends,
Our testimony before the Lancaster County Board of Commissioners over the last few weeks forced Wayne Bena, Deputy Secretary in charge of the Election Division (and Nebraska’s chief salesperson for ES&S), to show up and try to defend himself.
He did a very crappy job. Of course, it doesn’t help that he has taken a position that is subversive of our rights and Liberty.
Bena gave us all kinds of ammunition, as he stuck his foot in his mouth numerous times. I’ll be addressing his foot-in-mouth disease in the coming days.
As for the Public Comment portion of the meeting, a lot of people showed up to testify on another issue. Our side wasn’t exactly prepared, and they jumped up to the mic and lined up. That prevented everyone on our side from getting to speak, which was likely by design. The Board should have changed the speaking time from 5 min/person to 3 min/person so more, if not all, could speak.
Which begs the question, Why is Public Comment even limited to an hour? The Board obviously isn’t there to listen to and serve the People. When Bena speaks, they listen, but when the people speak about our elections, they do not listen. The exception here is Matt Schulte. I applaud him.
Since there was so much congestion and commotion, I just stood back. I had something prepared, but I figured I would do it another time.
Here’s Bena. He’s up first. Enjoy.

Thank you, Brother. That meeting for me was like a rude wakeup seeing the insolence of their plan and behavior: all our words have been sneered at for weeks as that gal in the front row typified while Connie spoke. We've not gained any ground at all with the left, and very little even with Matt, though we've gotten valuable relationship ground with him.
Bena chose straw men to address. How disgusting after he said he listened to public comments in past meetings on video. That is a sign of some serious waywardness.
Robert I shared on Facebook and I also put Bena on a separate share
