subject: action requested according to NRS 32-214
Governor Pillen,
I am hereby requesting immediate action according to NRS 32-214 with regard to Todd Wiltgen [Lancaster County election commissioner]:
[read only bold type below]
The election commissioner shall be responsible for the enforcement of the Election Act as it relates to his or her office and for the competency, integrity, and conduct of his or her chief deputy election commissioner and all personnel appointed by him or her. The election commissioner or chief deputy election commissioner shall be removed when it appears that (1) he or she has been derelict in the performance of the duties of his or her office, (2) he or she is incompetent, (3) his or her conduct is prejudicial to the public interest, (4) he or she has appointed incompetent, negligent, or corrupt precinct or district inspectors, judges of election, clerks of election, or deputy registrars, (5) a fair and impartial registration of voters was not obtained in any district of the county, or (6) the act was not enforced in the county. If the election commissioner is appointed by the Governor, the Governor shall remove the election commissioner or chief deputy election commissioner when either is subject to removal under this section. If the Governor fails to remove the election commissioner or the chief deputy election commissioner when either the election commissioner or deputy, or both, are subject to removal under this section, any citizen of the county may institute an action to order the Governor to remove the election commissioner, chief deputy election commissioner, or both.
It is in the public interest to have an election commissioner who understands and honors his oath of office. That oath of office requires protecting the people's elective franchise from unqualified voters and from secretly manipulated vote counts. Todd Wiltgen has failed in both respects.
It is in the public interest to have an election commissioner who believes in enforcing the Election Act, which includes enforcing fair elections that are verifiably free from outside influence (32-207). Todd Wiltgen has professed his belief that it is NOT his duty to enforce the Election Act.
It is in the public interest to have an honest election commissioner. Todd Wiltgen has lied to Lancaster County voters. He claims that paper ballots constitute the cast vote record. They do not. That is a blatant lie. Todd Wiltgen also claims that casting votes is the people's business while counting votes is his business. That is also a lie. Elections are the people's business from beginning to end.
It is in the public interest to have an election commissioner who does not call concerned and watchful citizens "malicious conspiracy theorist[s]" as Todd did recently.
It is in the public interest to have an election commissioner who believes he is a public county servant, and not a servant of the Secretary's office or of a private corporation by the name of ES&S.
It is in the public interest to have transparent and publicly verifiable election results that facilitate the peaceful transfer of power and put the right people in office. Secret vote counts are the antithesis of transparent and verifiable election results. Todd Wiltgen refuses to provide any election transparency or verifiability or auditability whatsoever (hand counts of two or three races in two or three precincts does not constitute an audit when it comes to computerized "elections" where cheaters can easily compartmentalize fraud).
It is in the public interest to have an election commissioner who liberally construes the Election Act so that the will of registered voters is not defeated by the way in which he or she conducts the election or certifies the results (32-102).
It is in the public interest to have an election commissioner who simply and openly does his job with confidence, rather than one who is constantly nervous and continually tries to gaslight Lancaster voters with misinformation (via social media at taxpayer expense), as Todd Wiltgen does.
It is in the public interest to have checks and balances in government. There are no meaningful checks and balances in the way Todd Wiltgen administers our elections.
It is in the public interest to have watchful citizens. According to the engraving over the front door of our Capitol building, The Salvation of the State is Watchfulness in the Citizens. Watchfulness, not trust. Todd Wiltgen is nervous about watchful citizens at best and completely opposed to them at worst.
It is in the public interest to have verifiably honest elections, because many important decisions, many important lives and many billions (if not trillions) of dollars hang in the balance.
No one can honestly say that they do not want verifiably honest elections. If they did, they would betray themselves.
Todd Wiltgen's thinking and conduct with regard to conducting elections is prejudicial to the public interest.
Governor Pillen, for all the reasons stated above, We, the people of Lancaster County, call on you to remove Todd Wiltgen from his position as Lancaster County Election Commissioner.
Respectfully,
Robert J. Borer
[end of letter]
That’s it.
God bless.
P.S.
My prayer to God:
I love You. I adore You. I bow down before You.
I pray for Your kingdom to come and Your will to be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
I ask for Your Spirit, that I might be led and empowered, for Your glory. Amen.
God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. Ecc 2:26
Another great one Robert and I pray that all of Lancaster copies and paste and send it to depending and I hope he actually gets off his buns and does something about it. If not, then he’s what we thought he was to begin with. One day I pray and pray that Robert you will be our governor hopefully the next one.! Continued prayers for all of what you are trying to accomplish for all of us! God bless you and protect you always
I ditto and sent a P.S. to your email!
