Before I get to the important “unique perspective,” I have a short story.
I just read an article in the Nebraska Examiner that got me fired up this morning. You can find it here. I immediately fired off a short response to the author (and I bcc’d plenty of “important” people). See directly below. And pass it on if so inclined.
Subject: election security and integrity nonsense

What??? No pushback??? It appears you ate this nonsense up hook, line, and sinker:
“It’s imperative that Americans, and Iowans, have confidence in those election results because the day after the election, if they don’t believe that that’s their governor or their senator or their president, our Republic has fallen without a single bullet being fired,” Pate said.

The only kind of election security that matters is the kind that is public-facing. In other words, the kind that is transparent and verifiable by the People, not the kind that protects the secret software, secret hardware, and secret vote-counts of private vendors and their "government" puppets, all of whom are compromised by conflicting interests.
Confidence has no place in our elections. The Salvation of the State is Watchfulness in the Citizen, not blind or misplaced confidence/faith in the Citizen.
You have betrayed your country as a person of the press. You are not doing your job. The people you are commending are known liars. And you didn't bat an eye at their BS claims.
Why would you not want transparency (barring the secret ballot) and verifiability in our elections?? Elections belong to the People, not to government.
Without transparency and verifiability there is no peaceful transfer of power. Obviously you'd rather see the country descend into civil war. (Democrats are prepared to destroy the country if Trump wins. Think the 2020 summer of love times ten plus.)
Eternity will have you regretting the day you were so willing to sell your soul and writing skills to corruption.

You can find copies of The Art of the Deal at fairly decent prices but you have to periodically check because they tend to sell fast. But if you buy an expensive copy, know you can always resell it to recover your costs. Try library or Internet Archive as well.
