In light of the fact that the SoS office has effectively propagated the idea to our county election offices that it is illegal to manually count ballots/votes, I am hereby requesting the following, pursuant to Nebraska Public Records Law § 84-712 et seq.:

- a digital copy of the official, legal document that allows county election officials to go ahead and manually count ballots/votes in certain precincts selected by the SoS office for their so-called "audit"

This email is regarding your records request received by our office on Friday, July 12, 2024.  We interpreted your request to be made under the Nebraska Public Records Statutes, Neb. Rev. Stat. §§ 84-712 through 84-712.09.  Specifically, you requested the following:

- a digital copy of the official, legal document that allows county election officials to go ahead and manually count ballots/votes in certain precincts selected by the SoS office for their so-called "audit"

Please see Neb. Rev. Stat. § 32-202, which sets forth the duties of the Nebraska Secretary of State, including the duty to supervise the conduct of primary and general elections in this state and enforce the Election Act, and Neb. Rev. Stat. § 32-203, which permits the Nebraska Secretary of State to inspect and review the practices and procedures of election officials and the conduct of elections.  You may also wish to review Neb. Rev. Stat. § 32-1041, which provides the Secretary of State approves vote counting devices and voting system for tabulating the votes cast at any election.

Dear Ashlee-

So basically what you've been told to tell me is that it's government of tyrant Evnen, by tyrant Evnen, for tyrant Evnen, and whatever unconstitutional nonsense he and his private corporate buddies can talk our lobbyist-controlled legislature into passing, instead of "government of the people, by the people, for the people"—is that correct?? 

President Lincoln would be ashamed and embarrassed to have his name associated with such foolishness and corruption.

This is a nationwide criminal conspiracy to defraud the people of their right to choose their government servants, and it will come crashing down at some point, and everyone who couldn't figure out the simple truth that elections belong to the people will become an openly ridiculed laughing stock that no one will ever want to do business with again.

That was for the benefit of the hundreds of people blind copied on this reply.

I read Ashlee’s reply yesterday when it arrived, and was inclined to respond right away. But decided to wait. I went to prayer this morning, not having this on my mind.

But then after a bit, the above thoughts came to me. Was it God, or was it myself? Is there a self without God? Certainly we can have our own thoughts. We would be robots if we couldn’t.

At any rate, I cherish my time of going to prayer and waiting upon Him. If I am nothing more than a reed shaken with the wind by Him (Luke 7:24), I am more than blessed. One day in His presence is everything. Imagine what eternity will be like. “For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.” (Isa 64:4) Here’s the same verse, quoted by Paul: “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” (1Co 2:9)

I leave you with these two passages:
”For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” (Rom 8:18)
”Hear, O Israel: Thou art to pass over Jordan this day, to go in to possess nations greater and mightier than thyself, cities great and fenced up to heaven, A people great and tall, the children of the Anakims, whom thou knowest, and of whom thou hast heard say, Who can stand before the children of Anak! Understand therefore this day, that the LORD thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD hath said unto thee. Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee.” (Deu 9:1-4)
