Dear Friends,
We look around and we see our civil liberties circling the drain.
We ask why.
We quickly discover the answer.
Good times create weak men.
And those weak men create the kind of hard times we find ourselves in where our civil liberties are circling the drain.
It’s the classic cycle, and we are at the bottom of it:
Hard times create strong men.
Strong men create good times.
Good times create weak men.
Weak men create hard times.
The big question is, how do we get back to being the strong men that create the good times when we are in the midst of hard times? That’s a important question.
And here’s another:
Do we even deserve civil liberties and good times when we don’t have Liberty in Christ?
. . . and another:
Can we even be the strong men that it takes to secure our civil liberties again without the Liberty in Christ that enables us to fear not, even unto death?
Those last two questions are rhetorical.
John Adams said: “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
Ben Franklin replied, when asked what kind of government we had after the Constitution Convention, “A republic, if you can keep it.”
I’m going somewhere. Please continue.
more questions
When are men more likely to seek Christ and become Christians (i.e., Christ-like)?
In good times or in hard times?
I will venture to say the latter. It’s pretty self-evident. Men ask for help when they need it, not when they don’t need it.
And they tend to remember that help.
from God’s point of view
I say all that to say this.
I think we are being given a royal opportunity.
An opportunity to return to our First Love, that is, if we need to—I’ve had to do so in the past, so have men greater than I—OR to make Him our First love if we have never done so.
What could be more important? Our time upon this earth is short, whether we die young or die old (a difference of 20 or 30 or 40 years is so small).
From God’s point of view, we don’t have much time:
. . . what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. (Jas 4:14)
From God’s point of view, we must prioritize:
Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word. But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her. (Luk 10:38-42)
From God’s point of view:
Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? (Luk 12:15-20)
From God’s point of view:
[It] is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. (Luk 18:25)
From God’s point of view:
Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death. (Pro 11:4)
From God’s point of view:
Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: (Pro 30:8)
From God’s point of view:
I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. (Rev 2:4)
From God’s point of view:
Seek ye [Him] while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near (Isa 55:6)
To delay is to harden our hearts.
the future
Many people are concerned about what is coming. Many are concerned about losing everything. Many question if Trump is just the other side of the same deep state coin.
I have a little money in the bank like most people. I don’t want to loose it. But I don’t make it the focus of my praying. I pray for general wisdom and guidance from God everyday so I can be in His will and bring Him glory.
As far as Trump goes, Kash Patel’s Government Gangsters movie just came out. It’s only 64 minutes long, but you have to hang on to your hat. It’s dense and fast moving. It’s $10 to watch for seven days, or $20 to own it. Click on the blue text above to watch.
Personally, I think God is looking to use Trump to execute vengeance on a lot of very, very corrupt, evil and blood-thirsty people. A man doesn't have to be perfect for God to use him in that way.
If I’m wrong, it’s no skin off my back. My trust is in God, and Christians have had to suffer through the ages for His glory. So be it. Faithfulness to the end.
Surveying the Scriptures, judgment and salvation usually come in combination. The wicked get judged and punished and the righteous get saved, whether by climbing into a boat or taking a hike up the mountains.
Either way, I’m not worried. My time with God brings me peace. I find my shelter beneath the shadow of His wings. (Ps 17:8, 36:7, 57:1, 63:7, 91:4)
God bless,
Robert J. Borer
P.S.
I sent the following across the state to all public servants this morning regarding the special session:
How much does Pillen himself stand to gain by this special session?
How much is he motivated by his own personal circumstances?
How much tax does he stand to save in his personal and business holdings?
Does he really care about anyone else?
Has he downsized government any? If so, it isn't anywhere near enough.
If Pillen really wanted to make a difference, he'd take back our elections from secret, private interests and return them to the People by making them transparent, verifiable and constitutional again.
Evnen certainly won't do it. He's in bed with those secret private interests.
But Pillen won't do it, either. And why? Because he's just as much a beneficiary of fraudulent elections as Evnen and Bena are.
Go ahead. Prove me wrong. You can't, because there's no transparency or verifiability. Evnen and Bena are running a charade that keeps them in power. And that's all that matters to them.
There's only one reason for secrecy in elections beyond the secret ballot. To cheat. Which is very easy to do with computerized and networked electronics and a few bad actors.
No one is dumb enough to be clueless of that fact at this point.
I definitely appreciate you sharing your words and your drive to fight for all. I have been doing the same locally. Sure have took many slaps and kicks in the gut over the last few years. Even from the ones that I thought would stand with me have turned their backs and shun me. Out of a County of approximately 108,000 I don’t have much support. I recently met up with some individuals that seemed to be ready to dive in until I shared what I had came to know as truth about our elections. I must of scared them away. How ever they did say a powerful prayer while we all held hands before I left. I do know there is power in prayer! So my efforts were not for nothing.
Your writings help to inspire me to continue fighting even if I am the only one on the front lines. Thank You.
Well said! At this point I’m more concerned with keeping my “first love” alive and vibrant, knowing He will direct my steps as needed. Looks to me like throughout the ages the government has always gone the way of Baalam eventually. When people look to wealth and power instead of one day facing God and answering for their actions they loose their direction. Sadly it’s the tradition of the human race. THATS why we need Someone to save us from ourselves! Do you know Him???
